A Legacy of Hard Work
Peter grew up learning carpentry and other trade work in a Hutterite colony. He developed his skills, a notable work ethic, and a perfectionist streak under the guidance of mentors like his father and grandfather.
The Hutterites are divided into mostly self-sustaining colonies—similar to the Amish. One of the main differences? Hutterites use electricity. Members of each colony are tasked with a wide range of jobs: from managing thousand-strong herds of animals to harvesting hundreds of acres of farmland to constructing new homes.
Put simply, there was no time for laziness. Everyone took their roles seriously because the community depended on them. Peter learned many of his trade skills by helping his father with carpentry and construction and much of his business knowledge from his grandfather.
Now, Peter runs Heritage Handyman for the benefit of a much larger community—the Gallatin Valley. If you need a handyman, don’t hesitate to give our Bozeman team a call.
